Our story
Like most people, we'd heard of points and miles for years — it just never really clicked. That changed when we opened our own business and watched how quickly the points added up on spending we were already doing. Suddenly the possibilities came into focus, and we were hooked.
So we did what we do with anything we care about: we went all in. We read everything, learned every strategy, and turned points and miles into an obsession. Last year alone, we earned 2.8 million credit card points — entirely on the spending we would have done anyway.
And the payoff has been extraordinary. In the past year alone, we've taken our family of six to Florida, California, Disneyland, and Costa Rica — every flight and every hotel paid for with points. Costa Rica was especially unforgettable for us: the scenery, the wildlife, the pura vida. Trips like that are exactly why we do this.
Why we started The Points Method
